About Us

The Alberta Gambling Research Institute is a consortium of the University of Alberta, University of Calgary, and the University of Lethbridge. Its primary purpose is to support and promote research into gambling in the Province of Alberta.


The Institute's 16th Annual Conference is scheduled to take place April 6-8, 2017 @ The Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta, Canada. Opening reception on evening of April 6, 2017.

The President of Treasury Board, Minister of Finance is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving as an Public Board Member of the Alberta Gambling Research Institute (AGRI).
