About us
The Alberta Gambling Research Institute is a consortium of the University of Calgary, University of Alberta and the University of Lethbridge. Its primary purpose is to support and promote research into gambling in the Province of Alberta.

Applications Open for 2024/25 Major Research Grants
Guidelines and application forms for major research grants ($160,000 / three years) are now available. Applications are due to respective University Research Office (RSO) by Friday, July 5, 2024. More information.
Applications for 2024/25 Graduate Student Scholarships
Guidelines and application forms for graduate and doctoral scholarships for students currently attending or planning to attend partner universities are now available. Applications are due by May 6, 2024 by 4pm MDT. More information.

AGRI National Project Publications
As of November, 2022, investigations from the AGRI National Project (ANP) study of gambling and problem gambling in Canada have resulted in 14 peer-reviewed journal publications, one accepted book proposal, and various other statistical materials.
